Facilitator & access notes
The original encourages leaning on other participants and changing which body parts touch the ground. Manual selection only, with individual access needs and explicit contact consent.
How to facilitate it
- Explain a simple floor-contact challenge and invite people to decide whether to participate or observe.
- Allow the group to find a low, stable arrangement using the agreed contact points.
- Return to a neutral position before offering another challenge.
- Stop before lifting, climbing, head loading or pressure on painful joints is needed.
Reflection prompts
- Notice: What did this activity reveal about how we work together?
- Carry forward: What would you like to try next?
