Facilitator & access notes
Offer a seated map, a proxy marker or a verbal position. Ask about current location rather than assuming everyone has one emotionally simple idea of home.
How to facilitate it
- Identify directions and establish an approximate imaginary map of the relevant area.
- Invite people to place themselves by where they currently live, talking with neighbours to adjust the scale.
- Hear from different locations, then optionally connect people from nearby places.
Reflection prompts
- Notice: What did this activity reveal about how we work together?
- Carry forward: What would you like to try next?
