Facilitator & access notes
Artistic skill is not the objective. Offer selected images, torn paper or spoken descriptions when drawing, cutting or vision is difficult.
How to facilitate it
- Offer several ways to create or select an image that expresses something about the person.
- Allow time to draw, assemble a collage or choose an existing picture.
- Invite paired conversations about the images.
- For a wider introduction, let participants choose whether to share for themselves or authorise a partner’s summary.
Reflection prompts
- Notice: What did this activity reveal about how we work together?
- Carry forward: What would you like to try next?
