Facilitator & access notes
The source gives 1–3 minutes for the writing burst, not the complete exercise. Others can place notes for someone who prefers not to move. Avoid using speed as a proxy for depth or creativity.
How to facilitate it
- Name a familiar topic and give everyone sticky notes and a pen.
- Allow a short timed burst, recording one contribution per note.
- Arrange the notes into a shared line, then stop and read what the group generated.
Reflection prompts
- Notice: What did this activity reveal about how we work together?
- Carry forward: What would you like to try next?
