Facilitator & access notes
Avoid stereotyping marginalised groups, surprise aggression or forced participation. Build in de-roling and debrief time. For emotionally intense conflict scenarios, use experienced facilitation.
How to facilitate it
- Choose a simple scenario and explain its learning purpose, boundaries and stop signal.
- Invite people to volunteer for roles or observe, and allow preparation time.
- Run the scene briefly, stopping if anyone asks or the learning point has emerged.
- Help people step out of role, then hear players and observers before identifying another response to try.
Reflection prompts
- Notice: What did this activity reveal about how we work together?
- Carry forward: What would you like to try next?
